Spiral Spire
A downloadable game for Windows
An archival copy of the demo for an unreleased game called Spiral Spire, developed anonymously and released in the early 2000s for personal computers. The lost demo is intact and fully playable in this release, with additional maps that were previously inaccessible.
"Spiral Spire" was an ambitious project, a dungeon-crawling adventure that promised players the chance to ascend the eponymous tower floor by treacherous floor. Developed by a single obscure developer whose identity remains unknown, the game emerged during the early 2000s, when independent gaming was still in its infancy. Today, the game’s playable demo is kept alive by internet archivists like myself, who remain intrigued by the developer’s haunted past and the game’s subsequently turbulent development.

I was not expecting the game to be like that! I had such a good time playing; that story was really good, and I did not see it coming. I love the graphic style, and your character design is great! I love the candle monster design! I will say I wish there was a checkpoint, LOL, I had to replay from the start because I died. Overall, the game was fun, and I hope it gets a lot of attention; I can't wait for more from you!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Unfortunately, I had time constraints for this project, but checkpoints would be my #1 priority if I had more time. Again, thanks so much for playing, and I can't wait to watch your playthrough!
